Access to Capital
There are different routes to take when looking for capital for your business. Listed to the left are possible funding avenues. The best bet is to start with your banking institution. They have SBA loans that traditionally have a lower interest rate.
Lake County offers small business loans as does SCOEDD but you must be turned down by a bank first, the County and SCOEDD are considered "Gap funding", they do not want to be in competition with the banks and they usually have a little higher interest rate than banks.
Below is a link that summarizes the loan options available to businesses throughout Lake County. Lake County loan information can be found on this website as well or call the SCOEDD office 541.947.6013.
