Lake County Commissioners

 

The Lake County Board of Commissioners generally meet the first and third Wednesday of each month for Regular Session with work sessions occurring the preceding day.  Meetings are held in the Commissioners meeting room in the Lake County Courthouse, 513 Center Street, Lakeview. Four meetings per year are scheduled in the North part of the County (North Lake County).   Under special circumstances, the Board may schedule special meetings as deemed appropriate. Public attendance is always welcome--Please join us!

Community Member for 41 years.  Married 23 years and counting.  Together with wife Tanya raised three children in wonderful community of Lakeview.  Lakeview High School Graduate 1979; 10 years timber industry; 6 years Road Department; Small Business Owner (U-Lock Storage C-Store); South Central Regional Partnership; Prison Advisory Committee; Chamber Board Member

 

 

Jane O'Keefe - Term expires 2002

Born in Hermiston Oregon 1959.  Married to John O'Keefe and residing in the Adel community since 1981.  Proud mother of two sons Henry and Patrick.  Controller - MC Roaring Springs Ranch; Partner O'Keefe Ranch.  Graduated Oregon State University:  Ag & Resource Economics 1981; Lakeview Sustained Yield Unit Working Group; Association of Oregon Counties President 2002; Lake County Education Service District Board Member; South Eastern Oregon Resource Advisory Council; Winema/Fremont Resource Advisory Committee; National Forest/Counties/Schools Coalition Board Member

 

William D. Barry - Term expires 2002

Born and raised in Lakeview.  Life long resident of Lake County. Graduated Lakeview High School; BS Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Oregon State University; Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Washington State; Former Owner/Operator Lakeview Animal Hospital; 29 years on Lake District Hospital Board
