Ken Kestner, Commissioner 2010 Chairman of the Board - Term expires December 31, 2010 (541) 947-6004 kkestner@co.lake.or.us Raised in Almyra, Arkansas. Bachelor of Science in Biology. Six years with the US Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management. 21 years with the US Department of Agriculture, Forest Service. Five years on the Lake Health District Hospital Board. One year Domestic Water District Board.

Dan Shoun, Commissioner 2010 Vice-Chairman of the Board - Term expires December 31, 2010 (541) 947-6002 dshoun@co.lake.or.us Raised in Prairie City, Oregon. Community Member in Paisley, Oregon for 37 years. Immediate family includes wife Noreen, two grown children and one son-in-law. Proud grandfather of two grandsons. 14 years serving on the Paisley City Council, 32 years with the US Department of Agriculture, Forest Service.


Bradley J. Winters, Commissioner Term expires December 31, 2012 (541) 947-6005 bjwinters@co.lake.or.us Raised in Lakeview, Oregon. Married with three children and three grandchildren. Lakeview High School Graduate 1979; 10 years timber industry; 6 years Road Department; Small Business Owner (U-Lock Storage & Convenience Store); South Central Regional Partnership; Prison Advisory Committee; Chamber Board Member.

The Lake County Board of Commissioners meet the first and third Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. for Regular Session, with Work Sessions occurring each Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.. Meetings are held in the Commissioners meeting room in the Lake County Courthouse, 513 Center Street, Lakeview.

Four meetings per year are scheduled in the various parts of the County: March - Christmas Valley; June - Fort Rock; September - Silver Lake; and December - Paisley.
